Since tissue culture and spawn production require equipment and space not practical for most to have in their own homes, I will do the tricky work for you! I am selling ready-to-grow 'mushroom kits' (to be used indoors and outdoors), which come with instructions and other supplies. In this way, I can make mushroom growing possible for anyone interested. The following species of mushrooms will be available: shiitake, maitake, reishi, golden oyster, blue oyster, morel, shaggy mane, garden giant. The indoor kits will be ready-to-fruit sawdust blocks that require some minimal care to maintain some environmental factors (humidity, oxygen). Depending on the species, the outdoor kits will either come with ‘woodchip spawn’ to be dumped in a prepared garden bed or inoculated wooden dowels to be drilled into logs. I will also be supplying 'novelty mushroom grow kits,' where I will show you how to grow oyster mushrooms off toilet paper roles and phone books.

All the kits come with full instructions on how to install and maintain your mushroom blocks, along with some more information about the species you have chosen. I can provide more or less guidance, depending on how much you would like to do independently.
