Services and System Pricing

All of our systems are custom designed and installed. I begin each client relationship with a free consultation to determine what scale of system will fit best and to address any questions and concerns the client has. I then provide a quote for how much the system will cost to produce and install. The systems and prices below are estimates, as each system will be unique to the client and cost will be negotiated individually.

We are also open to consultations for people who are interested in building their own system but would like guidance and direction with regard to components, sourcing supplies, etc.

INDOOR SYSTEMS

Indoor systems can be designed based on a client’s existing fish tank, or we can design a tank and growing bed system.

All Indoor systems will include:

• Guide book for start up and maintenance
• Growing bed and media
• Plumbing and fittings
• Biofilter
• Water pump

Additional options for optimal growth are:

• Heater
• Full spectrum grow lights
• LED grow lights
• Aeration system
  
• Solids removal system

Price estimates are:

Grow bed system (where client already has a fish tank between 10 – 30 gallons)
$350 – 500

10 – 30 gal tank and grow bed system
$400 – 600


OUTDOOR SYSTEMS

Outdoor systems generally come as a complete tank and grow bed design, however in some cases we may be able to work with existing outdoor ponds or other tanks. Year-round outdoor systems need some form of cover (i.e. a small greenhouse). We can also design systems that remain indoors for part of the year and are moved outdoors in the spring and summer.

All Outdoor systems will include:

• Guide book for start up and maintenance
• Fish tank
• Growing bed and media
• Pumbing and fittings
• Bio-filter
• Water pumps
  
• Heater
  

Additional options for optimal growth

• Clarifier (solids removal)
  
• Grow lights

• Automatic feeders
  

Price estimates for 50 – 250 gallon fish tank systems are:
$1200 - 3000

Ongoing consulting, training and maintenance $40/hr (without package)

Vacation system care and automatic feeder rentals available.
