My name is Jodi Peters and I believe that the re-localization of our food system will bring about positive social and environmental change in a delicious and engaging movement.

I recently completed an 8 month apprenticeship in organic gardening and permaculture at Linnaea Farm on Cortes Is, B.C. Inspired by the abundance and resilience of natural eco-systems I returned to Vancouver in November, 2009 with a strong desire to re-connect people to the cycles of nature through hands-on natural education and backyard food production.

I am drawn to small-scale food production systems that emulate the cyclical relations of nature and am very excited to help introduce aquaponics systems into the homes and backyards of anyone looking to expand their personal food production within the scope of their own home.
